Bitman General 150mm PH2-PH2 Impact Double-ended Power Bits-10 Pack for DIYers

The extra-long bit for when the screw sits way down deep.

Number of pieces : 10PCS
Series : General
Order number : BPH2110-GER

Product Description

Some fasteners don’t sit on the surface. They’re buried: a 4-inch structural screw through doubled-up 2xs, a fence post bracket set back inside a thick post, a screw recessed deep inside a furniture leg, or a deck screw driven through a fascia board into a joist.

The BITMAN General 150 mm 10-Pack gives you ten extra-long double-ended PH2 bits for that deep-reach work. At about 5.9 inches, they reach through thick material and into deep recesses where shorter bits and short extensions can’t. One pack covers 20 working tips — keep spares in the drill, the toolbox, and the truck.

Key Features

  • 150 mm Long Reach — Goes Deep When Short Bits Can’t :At 150 mm (about 5.9 inches), this bit reaches through doubled-up framing, thick landscape timbers, and deep furniture legs. It’s built for the jobs where a 65 mm or 90 mm bit leaves you staring at a screw you can’t quite reach.
  • 10-Pack = Stop Losing Bits Mid-Project :A 10-pack means you can leave bits where you need them: the drill, the toolbox, the junk drawer, the garage. Finish the deck, the pergola, and the raised bed on the same weekend.
  • Double-Ended — Flip It, Don’t Replace It :Both ends are #2 Phillips tips. When one end shows wear, flip the bit around and use the other side. One bit lasts twice as long.
  • 1/4″ Hex — Fits the Drill You Already Own :Works with every cordless drill and impact driver on the market. No adapter, no guesswork.
  • Built for Impact — Holds Up on Long Deck Screws :Cheap bits wander and strip on long, torque-heavy screws. This one is impact-rated, so it seats into the Phillips recess and stays there — even when you’re driving 3.5-inch deck screws into treated lumber.

Applications

Outdoor & Garden

  • Driving long deck screws (3″–4″) into joists and hidden fastener systems
  • Fence posts, gate frames, and pergola brackets
  • Thick landscape timbers and retaining wall blocks
  • Shed framing and outdoor storage assembly
  • Raised beds made from thick landscape timber

Around the House

  • Reaching screws deep inside furniture legs and table frames
  • Driving long screws through thick plywood and doubled-up 2xs
  • Cabinet carcasses with deep setback hardware
  • Basement and garage shelving bolted into studs

Workshop & Hobby

  • Driving screws through thick butcher-block and workbench tops
  • Deep pilot holes in thick hardwood beams
  • Building sawhorses, workbenches, and outdoor furniture from dimensional lumber

What It Fits

  • Long #10–#12 wood screws (up to ~4″)
  • Deck and fence screws
  • Landscape timber screws
  • Deep-reach structural fasteners

This is a Phillips screw bit — it’s not for masonry, concrete anchors, or nuts and bolts. For holes deeper than about 110 mm, use a bit holder extension.

Which Length Do You Need?

  • 65 mm — everyday fastening around the house, flat-pack furniture, shallow screws. Most people’s go-to.
  • 90 mm — deep recesses, cabinet interiors, 2.5–3″ deck screws. When 65 mm just won’t reach.
  • 150 mm — thick timber, 4–5″ long screws, doubled-up framing, deep furniture legs. When you’d otherwise need an extension.

If you’re not sure which one you need, start with the 65 mm — it covers 90% of household jobs. Reach for the 110 mm when you’re already fighting a bit that’s too short.

FAQ

Q: When do I need 150 mm instead of 90 mm?

A: When you’re driving 4–5″ screws, working through doubled-up framing or thick landscape timbers, or reaching into very deep furniture legs. If your project only calls for 2.5–3″ screws, a 90 mm or 65 mm bit is stiffer and easier to control.

Q: Won’t a long bit wobble a lot?

A: Longer bits flex more — that’s physics. At 110 mm it’s still usable with an impact driver, but for best results keep the drill steady and don’t force it. For holes deeper than ~110 mm, use a bit holder extension instead of fighting a longer bit.

Q: Do I really need 10 of these?

A: Long bits bend or strip more often than short ones under heavy outdoor use. Ten means you keep spares in the truck, the garage, and the toolbox.

Q: Will it fit my cordless drill?

A: Yes. The 1/4″ hex shank works with every cordless drill and impact driver sold for home use.

Q: What do I do when a tip wears out?

A: Flip the bit end-for-end. When both ends are dull, swap in a fresh one from the pack.
