What is the Ultra series?
The Ultra series is BITMAN’s heavy-duty, highest-performance line of screwdriver bits. These are the bits you reach for when fastening conditions are tough: high-torque drivers, impact wrenches, repeated hard impacts, and materials that fight back. It is the flagship tier of the range.
The steel and the hardness
Ultra bits are made from D1 steel, heat-treated to a hardness of HRC 63 the highest in the BITMAN range.
At HRC 63 the steel sits at the hard end of screwdriver-bit steel, which translates directly into longer edge life and better resistance to wear and impact stress. For impact work, where a lesser bit can twist, blunt or even snap, that extra hardness is exactly what keeps the tip intact.
Built for high-torque and 40 V tools
A defining feature of the Ultra series is its compatibility with demanding power tools. Some Ultra models are designed to work with 40 V drills and impact drivers the kind of high-torque tools that would overwhelm a standard bit.
